Welcome to Everybody Hates Rand, your friendly neighborhood Wheel of Time podcast! Launched in January 2018, Everybody Hates Rand (and yes, we do hate him. We’re also willing to admit he’s sometimes okay) is a podcast about Robert Jordan’s 14-book epic fantasy series, The Wheel of Time. A read-through project that typically looks at two chapters a week, Everybody Hates Rand, sometimes known as EHR, is a comedy podcast feat. literary theory, character analysis, criticism, and a bunch of other stuff, too. I’m Emily Juchau…
Emily has a degree in English from the University of Utah; it’s currently collecting dust in her parents’ basement. She proofreads for a very nice local company that makes textbooks (sort of) for grade-schoolers. Her favorite things in the world are Diet Coke, men’s jeans, and Sally.
Emily is on her fourth re-read of The Wheel of Time, so cumulatively she has probably spent a decade on this series. #Regrets
